Update from the high court today
We've heard from our attorney in St Lucia, who was in court today on our behalf.
The matter was adjourned to 24 November 2017, at which time the court will deal with the fitness to plead of one of the accused (something that should have been addressed in May and July), as well as the remaining Defendants’ pleas.
Clearly this is something of an anticlimax as we were expecting that these pleas would be made today. We do, however, remain optimistic and will update you further following the hearing on 24 November.
We were surprised to hear that the local media was not allowed access to the courts to witness proceedings.
